We are proud to share that Silvia Camporesi has been selected amongst the winners of Cantina 21, a project promoted by MiBACT and MAECI for the enhancement of Italian contemporary art.
A large widespread art exhibition, with a special section dedicated to the 700 years that separate us from the death of Dante Alighieri, who through poetry was able to transform the language and art of his time.

The project is inspired by René Guenon's esoteric reading of the Divine Comedy in Dante's Esotericism (L'ésotérisme de Dante, 1925).
Starting from these assumptions, Camporesi intends to work on the numerical symbolism present in the poem. The elements on which the research focuses start from a reflection on the numerical symbolism present in the Divine Comedy, followed by a research on Pythagorean and Neoplatonic numerology.
The final work will consist of an installation of a series of images both created ad hoc (drawings and photographs) and digitally processed starting from repertoires of the esoteric tradition, and an artist's book.
