Following the exhibitions at Musée Archéologique and Musée Dauphinois which will be held from 20 MarchAll exhibitions are on display until 3 September 2025

Painter turned sculptor Kaarina Kaikkonen is a major force in Scandinavian art. Famous for her monumental installations inspired by the environment and architecture, she engages in a poetic exploration of memory and recollection. At the Musée Hébert, this pioneer of environmental art reveals two facets of her work. The main gallery displays pieces with carefully considered titles, crafted from shoes, accessories and clothes, while the museum’s terrace hosts an installation created using shirts donated by Grenoble’s Emmaüs community. Infused with memories, these melancholy creations are sensitive self-portraits and symbols of the invisible connections that develop between people.
