We are glad to share the partecipation of Marta Roberti in the exhibition Naturae. Ambienti di arte contemporanea curated by Melania Rossi.
Naturae addresses the complexity of nature and the man who investigates it, in a multiplicity of meanings and themes: the presence of man in the landscape, the relationship with the body, with time, with the beauty of natural forms and with physical laws.
Ranging from sculptural installations and video to painting, drawing to photography, the exhibition follows a dramaturgy that invites you to enter into the creative universes of individual artists, real and proper concluded horti that create an exploratory and poetic journey focused on the relationship with the external nature and with one’s own.
Naturae. Ambienti di arte contemporanea find their own ideal home in the atmosphere of the Castle of Miramare, an ancient noble residence suspended on a cliff overlooking the sea and that is naturally in dialogue with the surrounding landscape and the strength of the elements that inhabit it.
The exhibition invites a deep reflection on the relationship between man and nature, focusing on ways in which art can become a place of contemplation and introspection and become an instrument for rediscovering the wonders of the natural world. The exhibition is part of the contemporary Miramare exhibition, organized by MondoMostre and CoopCulture.
More than fifty works by eighteen contemporary artists of different generations and geographical origins: from the works of masters such as Rebecca Horn (Michelstadt, 1944 - Bad König, 2024), Hermann Nitsch (Vienna 1938 - Mistelbach 2022), Marina Abramovic (Belgrade, 1946) and Mimmo Paladino (Paduli, 1948), to the site-specific installations made especially for the exhibition by Pietro Ruffo (Rome, 1978) and Josè Angelino (Ragusa, 1977), from unpublished works of Serse Roma (San Polo di Piave, 1952) to the particular settings of Marta Roberti (Brescia, 1977) to the visions between East and West of Liu Bolin (China, 1973).
