We are delighted to share the participation of Beatrice Pediconi in dialogue with the works of Luisa Rabbia in the show The beginning presented by the municipality of Pavarolo and the Casorati Archive. Curated by David Dixon.
For the third appointment of the GRAND TOUR project – Journey through the Italian collections, Studio Museo Felice Casorati is pleased to announce The Beginning, an exhibition that brings the production of Luisa Rabbia into dialogue with the works of the artists Huma Bhabha, Ross Bleckner, Gianni Caravaggio, Mario Diacono, Jason Dodge, Scott Grodesky, Jannis Kounellis, Piero Manzoni, Claudio Parmiggiani and Beatrice Pediconi.
If Rabbia's work sets the tone of the exhibition, this unusual arrangement of the exhibition spaces defines its rhythm: the viewer is invited to choose the place from which to begin visiting the exhibition because there is not a single beginning but many possible beginnings: from the garden , in connection with nature and cosmic desires; from the bell tower, in a womb-like room; from Casorati's studio, (the artist's studio), intended as a place of renewal and discovery. The visitor embarks on a physical and conceptual journey between the spaces and dilemmas that the works collectively raise.
