This year's edition, realized in collaboration with Annalisa Inzana, includes 17 Italian international artists. The title Supernaturale does not refer to something that transcends the limits of experience, but, playing with the superlative suffix SUPER, shows how the artists have all experienced a very personale immersion in the totalizing Nature.
For the most part of the year Pereto has no more than six hundred inhabitants. For those coming from the valley that observ the town from above, perched on the slopes of Monte Fontecellese, Pereto almost resembles a natural formation surrounded by woods. The concept of Supernaturale was born right from this particular immersion in the Nature and wants to show artists that, in their work and research, have expierenced the physical and intellectual relationship with the environment, the passion for the sciences, the observation of the landscape in a romantic or conceptual sense.
