We are proud to announce that the Museolaboratorio d'Arte Contemporanea di Città Sant'Angelo (PE) presents Alfredo Pirri. Luogo Pensiero Luce, a project realized with the support of PAC 2022-2023 – Plan for Contemporary Art, promoted by the General Directorate of Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
Companions and Angels – for Città Sant'Angelo is a three-dimensional site-specific work placed inside one of the rooms of the museum as a small parallelepiped-shaped environment consisting of walls and mirrored surfaces and designed to be visited partially by the viewer. The methacrylate walls are colored by the artist and mixed with tanned goose feathers already slaughtered for feeding. With natural light reflections from the windows, the museum is illuminated in a whole new way.
The work is inspired by the place, the landscape and the history of the museum and its territory.
The project is supported by the PAC 2022-2023 – Plan for Contemporary Art, promoted by the Directorate General Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Culture.
