MARTA ROBERTI | DIORAMA. GENERATION EARTH

We are thrilled to announce the partecipation of Marta Roberti in the group show Diorama. Generation Earth, curated by Chiara Gatti and Elisabetta Masala at the MAN of Nuoro.

 

The MAN of Nuoro announces a group exhibition that will transform the rooms of the museum in a dynamic and sensitive space, made of narratives and visions, memories of the earth and new horizons. The MAN, like a gigantic diorama – an illusion in a box of a plausible world, a device used especially in natural history museums to illustrate the environments of the biosphere – will once again offer the public an experience already experimented in 2022 with the exhibition SENSORAMA. Derived from the Greek dià (through) and òrama (vision), DIORAMA means "to see through" or "within something". In this case, through splits of natural and unnatural worlds, populated with real or recreated creatures and vegetations, in a perspective that makes increasingly ambiguous the limit between authentic or generated by artificial intelligence, possible or impossible.
