NAZZARENA POLI MARAMOTTI | RI/NASCIMENTO

We are delighted to share the partecipation of Nazzarena Poli Maramotti in the group show ri/NASCIMENTO curated by Marina Dacci.

 

 Sunday May 12th the gallery ME Vannucci of Pistoia and Villa Rospigliosi in Prato open to the public two exhibitions curated by Marina Dacci. 
ri/NASCIMENTO (ME Vannucci, from 12 May to 28 July) and ad/naturam (Villa Rospigliosi, from 12 May to 23 June). Think of it as a unitary project, the exhibitions explore the idea of change in the approach with "the other by himself" (be it objects, nature and people) and the tension towards a desirable rebirth that art proposes.

ri/NASCIMENTO comes from the reflection on the word archaic birth understood as birth that is grafted into the spirit of our time. The choice to propose it in Tuscany - a place that saw the flowering of the Renaissance - is not accidental. Man’s position and tensions have completely changed, but the search for new life and new visions for concrete change remains intact.

Each invited artist takes the floor and is measured on the need for a renewal of the gaze, a "flourishing" of thought, after a period of disorientation, disorder and darkness from which to start again for the construction of different balances. It happens by rethinking the relationship with the objects of our everyday life, with nature and the surrounding landscape until we reach human relationships: as a result, new formal vocabularies are born that give life to their works. It is not only about ecosophy as the elimination of the dichotomy between nature and culture, but the construction of a look and a feeling that seek a new origin.
