SILVIA CAMPORESI | ARCHITETTURE INABITABILI

Curated by Chiara Sbarigia and Dario Dalla Lana
We are delighted to share the partecipation of Silvia Camporesi at the group show Architetture Inabitabili within the space of the Centrale Montemartini in Rome.
Camporesi, together with Francesco Jodice, has created a specific work for the exhibition

A new point of view on architecture, aimed at discovering a different conception from that commonly linked to the functionality of living.
This is what is suggested by this exhibition, which was born with the aim of investigating the critical relationship between living and building, starting from some buildings that are emblematic of this fracture: "uninhabitable architecture" with a strong symbolic charge, emblems of the city in which they arise. The exhibition identifies some particularly significant examples, distributed throughout the country, finding evidence in the materials of the Archive LIGHT and other archives. To the historical photographs are added works signed by photographers and contemporary artists such as Gianni Berengo Gardin, Guido Guidi, Marzia Migliora, Mark Power, Sekiya Masaaki, Steve mccurry - in addition to some images of Francesco Jodice and Silvia Camporesi specially commissioned for the exhibition - and pages that the most appreciated Italian writers have composed for the occasion.
