On the occasion of the ARSS 2022 Evgeny Antufiev has renounced to exhibit his works at the Kiasma Museum in Helsinki because he believes now more important to use the space available to convey a message.
He has installed the phrase NO WAR in large black letters on a museum wall that is visible from outside the gallery.
"I asked to write on the wall NO WAR because I couldn't say anything else. When I woke up on February 24th, I knew I was living in a Nazi country. It was very shocking. I've always loved Russia, Russian culture"
