We are delighted to share that the installation Diario di un Tempo Sospeso by Beatrice Pediconi, recently acquired by Collezione Maramotti, will be dispalyed during the exhibition of Giulia Andreani L'improduttiva.
The artist said about this work:
“Diario di un Tempo Sospeso (Diary of Suspended Time) sprang from the need to mark out my days, filling the void of a sudden dilation in time.
Having come to Italy for a brief visit in late February of 2020, I found myself trapped in Rome for six weeks and a day while the country was in total lockdown. Airspace was closed and there was no way to get back to New York, where I’ve lived for the last sixteen years.
And so, like a diary, each piece of paper became my companion on a new voyage, where I reflect on the concept of belonging from a precarious, unstable position„.
