Serena Fineschi (Siena, 1973) lives and works between Siena and Brussels.
She studied at the State Art Institute "Duccio di Buoninsegna" in Siena, continuing her studies in graphic design in Siena, Florence, and Milan, as well as in Contemporary Art History at the University of Siena. She is one of the founders of Grand Hotel, a nomadic project in collaboration with Italian and international artists. She has also established the cultural association Fondaco, aimed at the dissemination of contemporary Italian art and artists on the international scene.
In 2016 she created Caveau, a safe built inside the walls of Siena to serve as a container for ideas. She is one of the founders of MODO asbl, a cultural association for contemporary art founded in 2018 and based in Brussels.
