Silvia Camporesi (Forlì, 1973) lives and works in Forlì, Italy.
Through the languages of photography and video – used in a pictorial way in which the color has always the leading role – she produces tales that draw on myth, literature, religion and on real life, along a slight boundary line between imagination and reality, wakefulness and slumber, by maintaining a constant relation with the natural element. In recent years her research is focused on the Italian landscape. Since 2000 she has been shown in several solo and group exhibitions, amongst the most recent: Architetture Inabitabili, curated by Chiara Sbarigia and Dario Dalla Lana, Centrale Montemartini, Rome (2024); Sommersi, salvati, Ex Biblioteca del Seminario Vescovile, Forlì, Italy (2023); Domestica, Monfest, Casale Monferrato, Italy (2022); Forzare il paesaggio, curated by Angel Moya Garcia, z2o Sara Zanin, Rome (2020); Autoritratto al femminile, curated by Mario Trevisan e Donata Pizzi Museo Santa Giulia, Brescia (2019), New Perspective.
